Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options effectively to patients and team members Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret radiographs to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Manage medical documentation diligently, including medical records, treatment notes, and dental fabrication records for prosthetics or restorations Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care across all age groups Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable; certification or training in pediatric dentistry is a plus Ability to perform procedures efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment plans clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds Join us as an Associate Dentist where your skills will be valued and your passion for delivering outstanding dental care will thrive!
