Lakestone Orthodontics is looking to hire a full-time orthodontic assistant to join our team in South Buffalo and Williamsville! We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and dedicated to the care and happiness of our patients, and can occasionally travel between our two locations in South Buffalo and Williamsville. Read more about us at our website! https://lakestoneortho.com/ General Duties · Greeting patients and/or parents and seating them for their appointments, while making them feel comfortable and/or excited about their treatment! · Taking x-rays, extra-oral and intra-oral photos, and scanning people’s teeth using a digital scanner. · Educating parents/patients about their treatment. For example, how to brush around the braces to prevent cavities. · Helping prepare the clinic at the start of the day, and preparing the treatment operatories prior to the patient’s appointment · Cleaning/sterilizing the operatories and equipment after the appointments. · Entering chart notes regarding the day’s appointment and notes regarding the next appointment. · Preparing the patient’s teeth for bonding braces. · Placing and removing arch wires, placing and cementing certain types of appliances like space maintainers or expanders. Qualifications · Previous Dental Experience (Orthodontics Preferred) · Ability to travel between our two clinic locations (South Buffalo & Williamsville) · Fluency in English; other languages are a plus · Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills · Works Well with Others in a Team Environment with a Positive Attitude · Adaptable and Flexible Approach to Work Pay and Benefits Lakestone Orthodontics offers a competitive compensation package, benefits, and great working environment.
