Dental Assistant - Jonathan Hunt, DDS, PLLC - High Point, NC

Dental Assistant Compensation will be determined based on experience and proficiency with practice procedures and technology, and motivation of candidate to learn. We are looking for an energetic Dental Assistant to join our team as one of our team members is retiring. This assistant will be chairside with the doctor, but will also be responsible for lab work for in-house cases. Candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of dental procedures, including endodontics and implants. Experience with CEREC, SprintRay, CBCT is preferred, but not required, however learning these will be a must for this position. Any experience with sedation and PRF blood draws will be a plus. Responsibilities Ensure patients have signed financial plan and consents before treatment begins Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilize instruments and rooms Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Design and mill crowns Print and process 3D printed cases Monitor any cases sent to lab Provide post-operative care instructions Keep operatories clean and well-stocked Manage inventory of supplies and assist with supplies ordering Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records Take intraoral/extraoral radiographs and dental photos Skills Experience as dental assistant is preferred Knowledge of OpenDental and DEXIS is a plus Previous experience with CEREC is preferred Experience with SprintRay printing and processing is preferred Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Excellent communication and people skills Well-organized and reliable Must have x-ray and BLS certifications Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Uniform allowance Work Location: In person
