Orthodontic Assistant - Hass Family Orthodontics - Conover, NC

This position is to provide outstanding patient care while assisting the doctor with the treatment of our patients. The orthodontic assistant provides patient treatment as prescribed by the doctor and assists in the management of the patient clinical records. Some Orthodontic Assistant Responsibilities Include but are not limited to 1. Assist with all orthodontic procedures 2. Display a pleasant and professional appearance and personality 3. Accurately complete all necessary and appropriate clinical charting of the patient's status, visit, hygiene, and next visit. 4. Discuss any pertinent information with the patient and/or parent at the end of the visit regarding progress, hygiene, and next visit etc. 5. NC Radiation Certification/CPR Certification or ability to obtain so. Orthodontic Assistant Skills/Abilities 1. Strong communication skills , both written and verbal. 2. Ability to work in a team setting. 3. Organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure. 4. Attention to details and follow-up on tasks 5. Always demonstrate teamwork.
