Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient and the necessary instruments and materials - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Skills: - Proficiency in using dental practice management systems - Knowledge of dental anatomy - Ability to accurately document medical information and coding - Experience in dental assisting techniques and procedures - Understanding of medical imaging techniques and equipment, such as X-ray machines - Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or other dental software for patient management As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist in providing quality dental care to patients.
