Annapolis Family Dentistry is growing and and is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist 1-2 days/week (Tuesdays with possibility of additional days- inquire for more information). We are a small, modern family practice located in the City of Annapolis. Our goal is for every patient of the practice to receive individualized attention, personalized service, and an unwavering commitment to dental excellence. Hygiene appointments are 1 hour in length and all new patients are seen by the doctor in advance. We are seeking a talented dental hygienist who will join our team in providing excellent care and is eager to work in a team setting. One of our beloved hygienists is scaling back a day towards retirement, so we are looking for an additional member of the hygiene team. There is opportunity to pick up more than 1-2 days/ week and be more full-time if desired in the future. Perform all hygiene clinical procedures to include prophy, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, radiographs, sealants, fluoride treatment, and use of the intraoral camera. Communicate with doctor as to possible areas for restorative, orthodontic, periodontal and cosmetic needs. Partner with the whole team to assist in whatever is required for an excellent patient experience. Possess a spirit of ownership with regards to the hygiene schedule. Hours: Tuesday 8-5 and possibly other days. We see patients 8:30-4:30 Monday-Thursdays.
