Orthodontic Manager/ Treatment Coordinator/ Assistant - Happy Hoppers - Methuen, MA

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthodontic assistant / coordinator / biller to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children annd andults and a strong understanding of orthodontic procedures. This role is essential in providing a positive experience for our patients while assisting the dentist in delivering high-quality care. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Record medical documentation accurately, including patient history and vital signs. Educate patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient records using software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with HIPAA regulations. Operate 3D scanners to assist in creating accurate dental impressions when necessary. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Present treatment plan and payment plan Periodic billing of ortho procedures Requirements Previous experience as an dental assistant is preferred, particularly in orthodontics Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and endodontics is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and the ability to take vital signs accurately. Proficient in using dental software systems, is an advantage. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and their families. Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
