Dental Hygienist Needed in Vancouver, WA! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained through preventive measures and education. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient treatment plans, medical histories, and progress notes accurately in medical records. Assist in the management of infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques. Monitor and record vital signs as part of patient assessments. Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including general dentistry procedures. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and general dentistry principles. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques relevant to dental care. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control measures. Experience with maintaining accurate medical records and documentation practices. Ability to take vital signs and assess patient health effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
