Job Overview Hi! We are seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. Our focus is on patient care and relationships, and also would love for you to have experience in dental assisting, specifically in orthodontics. Responsibilities Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under supervision of the orthodontist. Prepare and maintain the treatment area by ensuring it is clean, organized, and equipped with necessary instruments. Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate the patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring. Perform X-ray imaging. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Clean, sterilize and prepare instruments following standard protocols. Assist in local marketing and community events. Your Special Skills Ability to build rapport with patients and their families. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers. Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi task. Prerequisites for success High School Diploma or equivalent At least one year of previous Orthodontic Assistant experience. Radiography certificiation We are excited to collaborate with you!
