Job Title : Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Location : Plymouth, Haggerty Dental Job Type : Full-time Schedule : Monday to Friday Job Summary We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and supporting the dentist in delivering excellent patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) Conduct periodontal assessments and charting Screen patients for oral health conditions such as cavities, gingivitis, and oral cancer Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Review patient medical histories and update records accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and organized operatory following OSHA and CDC guidelines Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols Provide exceptional patient care and comfort at all times Qualifications Associate or Bachelorâs degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the practicing state Valid state certification for dental radiography Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Experience in general dentistry or specialty practices Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) Excellent time management and organizational skills Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude Work Environment Modern dental office with updated equipment Fast-paced, patient-focused setting Compliance with all safety and infection control standard How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume.
