Dental Assistant – Join Our Growing Pediatric Practice! City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry – Orlando, FL (SoDo District) We’re excited to continue growing our clinical team! We are looking for an additional reliable, and detail-oriented DENTAL ASSISTANT to join our team at City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry : a modern practice designed for kids and families. The position will be part-time with the following schedule: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays 8am to 4pm Our office focuses on compassionate, inclusive, and high-quality care in a calm, fun environment. We’re looking for someone who loves working with children, values teamwork, and takes pride in creating positive experiences for every family who walks through our doors. We also take great pride in providing accommodations for children of all abilities, including neurodivergence, sensory sensitivities, high anxiety, complex medical conditions, and other unique needs. What You’ll Do Assist the doctor during dental exams, cleanings, and procedures (chair side assisting). Assist with laser frenectomy and sedation cases. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and sterilization areas Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos Help keep our little patients comfortable and engaged Communicate clearly and kindly with parents and team members Maintain accurate and organized patient records What We’re Looking For Active Florida Dental Assistant certification is required FL X-Ray Certification is required Experience in pediatric dentistry is strongly preferred, but not required Expanded Functions Certification is strongly preferred. Chair side assisting experience is required. A patient, empathetic approach, especially with anxious or neurodivergent children Dependable, organized, and proactive attitude Someone willing to grow with our practice Willingness for cross-training in other office functions, as appropriate Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are a must At least one year of experience is required (does not include internships/externships).
