Our Westborough office is hiring for a full-time Dental Assistant. As DA, you will provide essential support to our dental and orthodontic teams, ensuring that patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to help patients maintain optimal oral health. Schedule and Locations Full-Time Position Alternative Work Schedule (4/10 Schedule) 7:30am - 6:30pm - 4 Days Per Week & 1 Saturday Per Month Key Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Prepare treatment rooms and set up instruments before procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization. Take and develop dental X-rays as required Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care. Manage patient records, scheduling, and appointments using practice management software. Maintain sterilization procedures for instruments and work areas, ensuring compliance with infection control standards. Help with inventory management, including ordering and stocking dental supplies as needed. Build rapport with patients, addressing their concerns and optimizing their experience in the office. Qualifications Completion of a dental assisting program. Current certification in coronal polishing and dental radiology preferred. Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or Dental Assistant is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in dental software and technology Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to teamwork.
