Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients. Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and appointment scheduling. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the implementation of infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment. Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and patient care. Ensure all equipment is sterilized and prepared for use in accordance with aseptic techniques. Provide support in administrative tasks as needed within the dental office. Skills Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental office management systems. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education. Ability to assist effectively during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry methods. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and team members. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
