Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various dental conditions. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our dedicated team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs. Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy as needed. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed in accordance with aseptic techniques. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, preventive care, and post-operative instructions. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide exceptional patient care. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices through continuous education. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging. Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Familiarity with infection control standards and practices within a dental clinic setting. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to patient care and comfort.
