Overview: Clinical Assistant needed for a busy and successful orthodontic practice. You must be enthusiastic, a quick learner, great with people and have a positive attitude. As a member of our amazing team, you would be responsible for assisting the orthodontist in the delivery of patient care and performing dental laboratory duties while delivering a positive patient experience. We are seeking an individual with superb interpersonal skills which includes the ability to quickly build rapport with patients and their families. Details of the position: Candidate must be a team player who shows initiative and a willingness to learn. The ability to work with your hands and exhibit manual dexterity is a must. The clinical team member position is full time (30-35hrs/wk) position working 3-4 days a week. Hours vary from 6:30 to 5:30. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the following: Greeting new patients and welcoming them to the office Taking x-rays and patient photos Clinical Assisting Treatment documentation Sterilization Laboratory Duties Patient Education and Motivation Practice Promotion Miscellaneous Duties Qualifications: You will be required to possess the following: Extremely personable with a constantly positive and upbeat attitude Team before self attitude The ability to multi-task in a high paced environment Exceptional manual dexterity Motivated to learn and constantly improve Proficient in the use of computers/tablets.
