Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our reputable dental practice. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical records management, and pediatric dentistry, with experience in general dentistry procedures. Experience with Open Dental, and medical imaging is highly preferred as well as speaking Arabic would be an awesome asset. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal assessments using aseptic technique Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration Assist with chairside procedures such as dental restorations, sealants, and fluoride treatments Support pediatric patients with gentle care tailored to their needs in a pediatric dentistry setting Operate and troubleshoot dental imaging equipment to obtain high-quality radiographs Review and document patient medical history, medical coding, and treatment plans accurately in EMR systems Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations and OSHA standards Assist with patient assessment, documentation review, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements Support the dental team by managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth clinic operations Experience Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is required; experience specifically in pediatric dentistry is a plus Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation review is essential Familiarity with Aseptic technique, infection control procedures, and anatomy knowledge related to dentistry Experience with general dentistry procedures including patient care and chairside assisting is highly desirable Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, medical coding, and EMR systems is necessary for success in this role This position offers an engaging environment where your skills will directly impact patient health and comfort.
