Outgoing and friendly Dental Assistant wanted to join our highly positive dental team. We are a well-established, one doctor private practice, in a beautiful office with state of the art equipment including digital radio-graphs, intra-oral camera, dentrix software. We are looking for an experienced, mature and highly skilled team player to help us care for our wonderful patients. T he right candidate will have the following attributes: Fabulous communication skills, must be a "people" person A Positive work ethic Detail Oriented A Great Attitude A Motivated, Self-Starter – great initiative A Dedicated Worker and Team Player You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience, be knowledgeable in all types of procedures and infection control. Knowledge with dentrix software is a definite plus. Some duties entail: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Maintain an aseptic environment by following proper infection control protocols. Take digital dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards. Record and update patient medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessments as needed. Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in treatment planning and patient education. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care. Salary Based on experience. Office hours are 8am-5pm with an hour lunch.
