Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in New York, NY
An East Harlem long established dental practice is looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist for a full-time position. The candidate should be reliable, pleasant, have good chairside manners and ability to work in a fast pace environment. Applicant should have at least 3-5 years in the field. Must have local Anesthesia Certification, CPR Certification and Malpractice Insurance. We have a broad patient base and the role of the Dental Hygienist is paramount in treating patients as well as promoting good oral health. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Compensation $60-$65 hr Responsibilities Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Take X-rays Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Skills Outstanding communication skills Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Masterâs is a plus Valid license to practice Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred) Malpractice Insurance (Preferred) Work Location: In person
