Your Role Matters: As a Registered Dental Assistant , you’ll be an essential part of our clinical team, assisting in procedures, educating patients, and ensuring every patient receives outstanding care. Your role is vital to helping patients feel safe, confident, and supported throughout their dental experience. What You'll Be Doing: Assist chairside during dental procedures with attention to detail and efficiency Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and preventive care Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral images Apply topical anesthetics and fluoride Take impressions and bite registrations; fabricate temporary crowns Remove excess cement from restorations and orthodontic bands Pour models, trim stone/plaster, and create mouth guards and custom trays Maintain strict infection control through room disinfection and instrument sterilization Contribute to a smooth-running, patient-focused clinic Other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and clinical success Required Qualifications: Active Texas RDA license with at least 2 years of experience; additional certifications a plus Current BLS certification Strong communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting Certification Support: At Planet Dental, we believe in supporting your professional growth.
