Your Job Duties As a Hygiene Assistant , you’ll be the supporting hero who makes every hygiene appointment feel smooth, seamless, and stress-free for both patients and Hygienists. You’ll set the stage, support clinical care, and keep our operations flowing like a finely tuned orchestra. Your Impact Will Include: Preparing hygiene rooms and ensuring all tools and PPE are ready to go Assisting hygienists chairside with suctioning, passing instruments, and more Managing sterilization, cleanliness, and supply inventory Supporting radiographs, lab case tracking, and whitening tray coordination Documenting in Carestack and helping with reappointments and scheduling Escalating equipment issues and ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA & HIPAA Creating a calm, welcoming environment that puts patients at ease Who You Are A proactive, reliable support system A detail-loving multitasker who finds joy in being prepared A warm, calming presence for patients and teammates A fast learner who’s open to coaching and growth Passionate about people and purpose-driven care Experience Preferred (But Not Required) Dental Assistant experience or certification Radiograph certification and CPR training Familiarity with Carestack or other PMS systems A hunger to learn, grow, and contribute to something bigger Schedule This is a full-time, in-office position with the following schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.
