We are seeking a dedicated & skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail & delivering the highest quality care to our patients. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. Responsibilities Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain patient records and ensure smooth workflow. Provide excellent patient care and support. Skills Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health and safety regulations Excellent communication, organizational and people skills Attention to detail Coronal polishing Alginate and Digital scanning knowledge Ability to run multiple doctor columns at a time Able to schedule re-care and treatment appointments A positive, patient-focused attitude and reliable Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred HOURS: Tuesday - Thursday, 1 pm to 7 pm Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Work Location: In person
