Dental Assistant We are looking for an experienced dental assistant to help treat kids. You must love kids, because in a dental practice, kids use their "spidysenses" to know who they want to trust. The dental assistant must be responsible, well-organized and able to work without anyone breathing over their shoulder. Responsibilities Assure parents that their child is in good hands Assure the child there is nothing to fear Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system Skills Proven experience as dental assistant NJ x-ray certification Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 per week Work Location: In person
