Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Clifton, NJ
Job Summary: A well-established Dental Office in Clifton, NJ, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant/ Foreign Dentist or Dental Student to join our team. We are looking for a reliable individual with a CURRENT DENTAL X-RAY LICENSE, and experience as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is preferred. The ideal candidate should be familiar with digital x-rays, be HIPAA/OSHA compliant, and have Dentrix experience. Spanish Speaking Preferred. Responsibilities: Chair-side Assistance: Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. X-Ray Imaging: Perform dental x-rays and ensure compliance with current regulations. Familiarity with digital x-rays is a plus. Sterilization and Infection Control: Maintain a clean and sterile environment by adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Patient Care: Assist in patient care, including taking and recording vital signs and updating patient records. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment. Dentrix Experience: Experience with Dentrix dental software is advantageous. Qualifications: CDA/RDA License: Current certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is required. Dental X-Ray License: Must possess a current dental x-ray license. Experience: Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Digital X-Ray Familiarity: Knowledge of digital x-rays is a plus. HIPAA/OSHA Compliance: Strong understanding and adherence to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Dentrix Experience: Familiarity with Dentrix software is advantageous. Pay: Top pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
