Fairbanks Orthodontic Group is looking for an energetic individual to join our team as a valued Orthodontic Assistant in a fast pace and growing practice. If you are new to the field and have a strong desire to learn a new skill set, please apply! Must be punctual, have a solid work ethic, be able to multitask, have good time management, be extremely organized, have a positive attitude, must be professional, work well in a team setting, and must have a willingness to learn and grow. Position includes learning four phases of training, setting up and breaking down patient rooms, processing nonsterile instruments, processing sterile instruments, taking x-rays and scans, performing procedures on patients with accuracy, assisting providers at chairside, entering chart notes, entering reminders, opening and closing procedures, general housekeeping, stocking supplies, taking impressions, pouring models, making retainers, master procedure codes, and other duties as assigned. 12 days per month that are decided by the providers months in advance (96 hours per month) Office hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (must be clocked in by 8:00 am and ready to see patients by 8:15 am) Payday is the last day of each month Free orthodontic treatment is available after 3 months of employment Treatment is for you or for one family member that resides with you Paid holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving, and 4th of July We request you schedule your appointments and vacation periods on non-patient days Uniforms provided / all sizes provided Yearly Christmas party with gifts and games Initial and ongoing training provided Wages are based on experience Increases are evaluated yearly and based on performance When applying, please send a short cover letter & resume Attn: Breanna (Manager) Please tell us a little about yourself and why you desire to join our team Thank you for your interest!
