Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The Associate Dentist will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across a broad spectrum of dental services, including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry. Duties Perform comprehensive patient examinations and assessments using advanced diagnostic tools and medical imaging. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings. Administer various dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments. Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with expertise in pediatrics and related anesthesia techniques. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards. Educate patients on oral health care practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with dental team members to optimize workflow and patient outcomes. Stay current with advancements in dental technology, including proficiency in Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other practice management software. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required; familiarity with dental fabrication processes is a plus. Prior experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, or general dentistry is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to dentistry is essential for effective diagnosis and treatment planning. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Experience with medical documentation standards and infection control practices is necessary to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Candidates should possess excellent patient care skills combined with the ability to assess patient needs accurately while maintaining professionalism at all times.
