Permanent Dental Assistant Job in San Francisco, CA
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. New Grads are welcome! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position requires knowledge and experience in various dental procedures and excellent patient care skills. Skills: -Skillful and competent in four handed dentistry, -certificate of 8 hour sterilization required, -efficient in taking proper FMX and recall sets, -certificate of coronal polishing is required, -Team player and friendly, -Attention to details and orderliness is a must, -Attention to infection control guidelines is a must, - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Perform efricient and proper 4-handed dentistry, - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation using electronic systems such as Dentrix - Perform dental receptionist duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Assist with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations - Practice aseptic technique to ensure infection control Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - Current certification in dental assisting - Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation systems - Experience with dentrix is a plus - Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills -Not using or carrying cellphones or smart watches while on the clock to respect HIPAA regulations.
