You may be who we’re looking for! We are a small pediatric dental practice right in the heart of the Highlands neighborhood (Denver - NOT Highlands Ranch), and we’re looking to expand our team! We are looking to hire the right sensitivity and passion for our practice – experience would be preferred, BUT we are willing to train the right person! We pride ourselves on being a fun environment where kids actually enjoy their experience and look forward to coming back. Our goal is to ensure that every child begins their young life with a positive outlook on dental care, as well as to identify those patients with previously embedded fears and help them overcome them. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for each appointment Assisting the dentist during procedures by utilizing four-handed dentistry Taking and processing X-rays of patients Processing lab work for the dentist Greeting patients as they arrive and helping ease them into their appointment Advising parents on recommended oral hygiene The cleaning and flossing of children’s teeth Updating and maintaining dental records Handling general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental clinic Requirements: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent Professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the job, including image and both verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and remain calm in high-stress environments Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as required Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills A love for kids and a basic understanding of their development A calm disposition, with bonus points for talent at building rapport with kiddos who may be scared or anxious A strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and a love of teamwork Ability to take direction, constructive criticism, and consistent follow-through Flexibility with scheduling Our current schedule is Tuesdays through Fridays, 7:15AM start, .
