Job Summary We are seeking experienced Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) to provide services at a Correctional Facility . This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering quality dental care to inmate patients in a secure healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Assist dentists during examinations and procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments Take and develop X-rays as required Maintain accurate patient records and update charts Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care Follow all safety and infection control protocols Perform other dental-related duties as assigned Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 16 continuous months of experience in the last 24 months in a public or private healthcare facility (internships do NOT count). License/Certification: Valid California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license. Communication Skills: Must be fluent in English (spoken and written) to ensure accurate communication in patient care. Compliance: Must adhere to California Dental Practice Act regulations (Sections 1740-1777). Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
