Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and Dental Assistant (DA) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations, assist with patient care, and ensure the smooth functioning of the dental practice. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and medical documentation standards. Prior experience with Open Dental software is helpful but not mandatory. Our office really focuses on patient care and making sure we provide excellent care. Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies while maintaining aseptic technique Take digital x-rays and intra-oral images. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment Provide chairside assistance during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Educate patients on dental health, procedures, and post-treatment care using appropriate dental terminology Support the team with administrative duties such as answering phones as a dental receptionist when needed Skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards Experience with dental X-ray techniques , scanner and intra-oral camera Ability to perform chairside assisting with aseptic technique and anatomy knowledge Experience in dental assisting roles within a clinical setting; prior dental clinic experience preferred Excellent communication skills suitable for interacting with patients of all ages This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to patient care excellence while advancing their professional skills within a supportive team environment.
