Registered Dental Hygienist - Metropolitan Dental Care - Denver, CO

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in various dental systems, and the ability to work effectively in both general and pediatric dentistry settings. Recent graduates welcome! Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Document patient histories and review relevant documentation to ensure accurate records. Administer vital signs and assess patients' oral health needs. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient management. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Valid Colorado Dental Hygienist license Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with various dental systems. Experience with documentation review processes. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in general dentistry is an advantage. Hours This position is 3-5 days a week (No weekends).
