Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, motivated, dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Our office is looking to fill positions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8am- 5 pm and half days on Fridays from 8-1. All or any of those days are available. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. A strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices is essential for this position. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Utilize Softdent software for patient management and record keeping. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to infection control protocols. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience with dental office procedures and familiarity with Softdent software is preferred. Strong knowledge of infection control practices within a dental setting. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health.
