Full time hygienist needed at Diagonal Dental in Boulder. A part time position would certainly be considered for the right candidate. Our practice has highly trained and proficient professionals, who not only provide a great service for our patients but also a great, calm working environment. We are a small office who prioritizes quality over quantity. We provide outstanding and high quality care. Our ideal candidate would have great communication to both patients and team members. They should be on time consistently and value time management. The candidate would be a team player willing to help their teammates so that everyone has a great day. Clinically, the candidate should be proficient in provide outstanding diagnostic (FMX, BW, and PA X-rays and periodontal charting), preventative (prophy, hand and ultrasonic scaling, fluoride treatments, etc.), diagnose periodontal disease, and therapeutic periodontal treatment (scaling and root planing under local anesthetic). Current standards of Infection control practice is mandatory and the highest standard of care regarding infection control is expected. Our typical recall hygiene visits are 60 minutes, which include: prophy, 4BW or Periodontal charting, and exam. We try to alternate X-rays and periodontal charting at each 6 month visit. New patient visits are 90-120 minutes and include: FMX, Periodontal Charting, prophy, and exam. No accelerated hygiene. We work Monday - Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm. Morning huddle is at 7:45am. Patient care begins at 8am. Lunch is generally 1-2PM. We finish patient care by 5:00pm and usually out the door by 5:15-5:30pm. We are an all digital office and utilize Open Dental for our charting system. License requirements: current dental hygiene license and local anesthesia permit. Our practice is called Diagonal Dental and is located in Boulder at the corner of the Diagonal Highway and Foothills Parkway.
