We are currently looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Position Overview : As a Dental Hygienist at New York Dental Partners, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent patient care. You will be responsible for performing routine dental cleanings, preventative treatments, and educating patients about oral health. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dental hygiene, have experience with Curve software (willing to train), and have a strong focus on patient care. Key Responsibilities : Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planning. Take radiographs (x-rays) . Perform periodontal assessments and charting. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care. Assist with treatment planning and provide recommendations for maintaining good oral health. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix. Ensure that the treatment room is sterile and properly prepared for each procedure. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient follow-ups. Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding of treatment plans. Qualifications : Active state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred. Proficiency in Curve a plus Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
