Job Summary We are looking for a FT experienced Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. Looking for someone reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Eaglesoft preferred. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth in accordance with accepted standards of care. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current health status. Assist with chairside procedures such as medical imaging, cavity detection, and applying topical anesthetics. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records using Eaglesoft. Follow infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures. Support pediatric dentistry needs by providing gentle care tailored to children’s comfort levels. Review medical records and documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Stay current with dental terminology, medical coding, and updates in dental technology to ensure best practices. Follow HIPPA regulations.
