Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and removing plaque, tartar, and stains. Conduct oral health assessments to identify signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis and periodontal disease. Take and develop dental X-rays as needed. Apply preventive treatments, such as sealants and fluoride. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition. Assist dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, sterile environment. Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
