AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF DENTAL ASSISTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB! (DEAL BREAKER) Our state-of-the-art dental office seeks friendly, people oriented, chairside dental assistance in our Naperville dental office. We are passionate about providing high quality dental care and helping our patients maintain excellent oral health. Responsibilities Setting up and cleaning treatment rooms Welcome patients and escorting patients to the treatment room Ensuring the patients are comfortable Taking digital dental x-rays Assisting the dentist chairside Preparing and sterilizing instruments and handpieces in compliance with OSHA standards and CDC guidelines Keep the treatment rooms stocked Provide post-operative instructions Welcome and check in patients Answer phone calls with professionalism Skills Have exceptional attention to detail; ability to prioritize and multi-task Have a caring and positive personality Have exceptional interpersonal verbal communication skills Have excellent patient care skills Having a working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Have the ability to build rapport with patients Have digital radiography skills Be willing to work as a team member Be willing to learn new skills 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience Job Types: Full-Time/Part-time Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Safety equipment provided Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability COVID-19 considerations: We follow all current state Covid-19 guidelines.
