We're seeking individuals with at least 1 year of dental assisting experience with expanded functions. Coronal Polishing and Caries Prevention is a plus! Responsibilities Assisting the dentist using 4-handed dentistry Taking & developing dental radiographs. Assisting in a hospital setting with patients under General Anesthesia Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; and answering patients' questions. Place amalgam and composite restorations. Ensures accurate patient records (treatment planning, medical history) Takes dental impressions & pour models. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Prepares treatment rooms including decontamination, sterilization, cleaning handpieces and room, and restocking supplies.
