Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures. Assist dentists during various treatments, Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment while maintaining proper radiation safety protocols. Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) like , Eaglesoft, to ensure accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and medical history. Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures to prevent cross-contamination. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with dental receptionists, and managing patient flow efficiently. Qualifications experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in chairside assisting and dental terminology. Knowledge of EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, documentation and records management. Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental setting. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training; additional certifications in radiography or CPR are advantageous. Join our small, private family practice.
