Dental Assistant - Shasta Family Dental - Klamath Falls, OR

Overview Shasta Family Dental, a locally owned, single doctor dental office is currently looking for a full-time dental assistant interested in a long term position. We are a family friendly, community minded office that is looking for an upbeat team member that is focused on providing quality care and customer service. Candidate should value open communication, a feedback rich environment, and flexibility. DANB Radiology preferred but will train in office if candidate has one year of chairside assisting experience! EFDA is preferred but willing to train. Experience with digital sensors and charting preferred, we currently use DAISY charting and experience here would be a plus. Competitive benefits plan available, pay negotiable DOE. Must be able to pass a background check! Office hours are Mon-Wed 8-5 and Thurs 8-2. This position works Mon-Thur one week then Mon-Wed the next, alternating 30/24 hours per week. Please submit resume in person at 2504 Shasta Way or via email. Duties Assist dentist during various procedures. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using DAISY Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage scheduling of appointments and follow-up visits for patients. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations. Support the front office with administrative tasks as needed. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience in dental assisting is REQUIRED, with knowledge of general dentistry practices. Understanding of anatomy relevant to dental procedures is essential. Proficiency in using dental software such as DAISY is a plus.
