Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Nisswa, MN
We are looking to fill our one dental hygienist position for our small, friendly dental practice in the Brainerd Lakes area. Dr. Johnson has been the dentist at Nisswa Dental for more than 20 years. Our goal is to provide the highest level of individualized care based on honesty and trust. We are looking for someone to start in early- to mid-August 2025. Our ideal candidate is ambitious, likable, ensures that patients feel as comfortable as possible, and values teamwork. Experience: Proficiency using dental office software systems (Dentrix or Eaglesoft) Knowledge of medical imaging systems for capturing and analyzing dental x-rays Proficiency in infection control practices and maintaining a sterile environment Excellent communication skills Benefits: Paid time off Retirement plan match Employee discount Continuing education credits Shift and schedule: Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4 pm Responsibilities: Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) Take x-rays or digital images Educate patients on proper oral care Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
