Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Rochelle Park, NJ
We are searching for a Dental Hygienist to join our dental team! We are a PPO and FFS office located in Rochelle Park, 3 minutes away from the Garden State Plaza Mall. Our team is like a family - we are tightnit, caring, and dedicated, and we are looking for someone who is a team player, energetic, and compassionate to join us. Hours are part-time. We are primarily looking for someone to work Thursdays with us, other days of the week are flexible and open to negotiation. Benefits include: PTO, 401k (based on hours), Bonus opportunities Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Document patient treatment records using OpenDental, Dexis - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean dental office environment Qualifications: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Upbeat, positive team player - Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $53.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Paid time off License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred) Dental License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
