Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Provide a variety of dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation and medical records management. Conduct procedures with aseptic technique and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care tailored to pediatric dentistry or general dentistry needs. Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient care efficiency. Maintain accurate medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Stay current with the latest developments in endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties to enhance treatment quality. Ensure compliance with all dental office policies and procedures related to medical records, medical imaging, and infection control. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required. Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Prior experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics is advantageous. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices is essential. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and education.
