Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Greenville, SC
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques - Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care - Take and develop dental x-rays, including 3D scans if applicable - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation - Perform dental receptionist duties when needed Qualifications: - Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures - Experience with medical imaging equipment and 3D scanners - Familiarity with Dexis software is a plus - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor - Previous experience in prosthodontics or pediatrics is advantageous This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice, enhance your skills, and contribute to improving patients' oral health.
