Position Overview: We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our Dental Team. We have a team member retiring and we are looking for a key player to join our dental team. This position requires excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with the dental team to provide outstanding dental experiences to our patient. Responsibilities: Prepare dental rooms for treatment Assist dentist chairside with clinical procedures Take dental x-rays, impressions, and intra-oral images Maintain infection control protocols at all times Provide information about treatment options Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed Utilize Eaglesoft for scheduling appointments and managing patient records Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and address any concerns or questions Requirements: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred; otherwise CDA or RDA certification required within 1 year of employment. Training for CDA provided on the job with additional training and testing available on own. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes Proficient in using computers Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping Ability to work well in a team environment CPR certification (will be required within 1 month of hire) We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
