Duties Assist dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take dental X-rays while ensuring patient safety. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and treatment plans. Record vital signs and update medical records as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Skills Proficient in medical documentation practices, with a strong understanding of dental terminology. Experience with X-Ray procedures, including safety protocols. Familiarity with electronic health record systems. Ability to take vital signs accurately and maintain detailed medical records. Knowledge of terminology relevant to dental practices. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
