Job Summary We are looking for an excellent hygienist to join our practice at John Holt Dentistry in Lake Oswego, OR. This is a private practice with very high standards for patient care and experience. We are offering a part time position of one day per week (either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday), with the option of going to three days per week in the future. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing dental cleanings. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and patient assessment techniques. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a friendly and professional environment. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients. Take radiographs, perio chart, and diagnose periodontal condition. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide guidance on maintaining good dental health. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and satisfaction. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license as required by state regulations.
