Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. We can accommodate part or full time. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy on patients. Assess and document patients' oral health status, including vital signs and medical history. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient management. Assist with dental procedures as needed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred. Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance. Ability to take and record vital signs accurately. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
