Job Overview Location: Cornerstone Dental Health Job Type: Full-Time 36-37 hours We are looking to fill a dental assistant position at our office where we pride in exceptional dental care with a gentle touch. Key Responsibilities · Patient Care & Comfort : Welcome and prepare patients for treatments, ensuring their comfort and addressing concerns with empathy. · Chairside Assistance : Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures (cleanings, fillings, extractions, etc.) using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency. · Infection Control : Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to strict OSHA and health & safety regulations. · Radiography & Documentation : Take and process dental X-rays, manage patient records accurately, and assist with billing procedures as needed. · Patient Education : Provide clear post-operative care instructions and educate patients on optimal oral hygiene strategies. · Lab & Inventory Tasks : Undertake lab tasks as instructed, such as taking scans, and monitor supply levels to ensure the office is always well-stocked. Qualifications & Skills · High school diploma or equivalent is required. · Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program is preferred. · Active state license, registration, or permit as required by Pennsylvania, including X-ray certification. · Proven experience as a dental assistant is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. · Proficiency with dental practice management software is highly desirable. · Strong attention to detail, excellent dexterity, and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
