Job Overview We are a thriving, patient-centered private dental practice seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high standards of patient comfort and clinical excellence. This role offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped environment with a focus on general dentistry as well as specialized procedures such as oral surgery and root canal therapy. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with a team of dental professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care while adhering to all regulatory standards including HIPAA and infection control protocols. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and explain procedures clearly to patients. Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret results to inform treatment decisions. Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy. Skills Experience in minor oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy) and dental fabrication is highly desirable but not required. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management. Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is preferred.
