Dental Assistant Job ID: 11584 Location: 5255 79th St, Lubbock, TX 79416 Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday and Thursday 7:50am-5pm or 9:50am-7pm (all RDA's alternate) Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 7:50am-5pm Two Saturdays a month we are open from 7:50am-2pm (All RDA's rotate working and will have a day off during that week) Join Our Caring Dental Family as a Dental Assistant! Your Role: Assists the Doctor and Practice Manager to ensure that procedures and practices to provide quality care are upheld by the clinical team, and maintain a safe and efficient schedule. Oversees and approves all clinical supplies and inventory to make sure office is fully stocked with what is needed to operate on a daily basis and staying within set budget expectations. Places and finishes permanent restorations, completes preliminary impressions; provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentistâs access; suctioning; and passing instruments. Any other duties as needed. Leads the clinical team in actions by promoting best practices in patient care. What We Are Looking for: CPR/X-ray certification High School Diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
